TheraCare is seeking dynamic for Developmental Therapist (DT) looking for a comprehensive and rewarding experience to provide home based services in one of the following areas in Connecticut: Bridgeport, Stamford, and East & West Hartford.

In this role, the Developmental Therapist (DT) will provide treatment to children up to 3 years old with various developmental delays, in a variety of settings. Provide early intervention within the home.

Successful candidates will have excellent attention to detail regarding report submission, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, have the ability to liaise and collaborate with professionals in various disciplines and at different levels in order to best advocate for needs of children and be willing to travel to various settings for service provision.

Qualified Developmental Therapist (DT) candidates will possess at least one  of the following valid initial, provisional or professional teaching certificate  from the Connecticut State Department of Education (SDE): #112 Birth-Kindergarten, #113 Nursery-Third Grade, #065 Comprehensive Special Education PRE- K-12, #165 Comprehensive Special Education K-12, #265 Comprehensive Special Education, #057 Certificate Endorsement Pre-K-12, # 059 Certificate Endorsement Blind Pre-12, &  #055 Certificate Endorsement Partially Sighted 1-12.
